So, here goes the story about important thing in our virtual life.
You wake up in the morning, and go to check what's up on your virtual heaven(or hell). And, suddenly you realize: new Limited Edition store is out! With no warning, it just pops up. Well, if you are among lucky ones that have saved up stardollars, or can and want to spend real money in order to get some virtual money, you don't have to worry. This story is not about you, luckily. This story is for totally unprepared us. You hurry to sell some rares, like 1st and 2nd season dkny, old hot buys, and some rare old clothes, in order to get few so called limited pieces. You are excited that they are not so expensive. When you finally afford to buy few pieces, you get disappointed realizing that your 'limited' item is one of 1000. Very limited. Actually, very disappointing. But you still want to buy more, just so you can later say that you have got new LE clothes. And same goes again. At the end, Stardoll staff are ones who get the most of us, brand name obsessed users.

But I would never sell my rare DKNY for LE. I'm not that desperate, and if I had no money, it would be sad to not buy LE, but that's just life, isn't it?

Yeah I haven't had to sell anything luckilly, but I didn't buy as much as normal and I am going to cut back in the future. Just because I am getting tired of how frequently stardoll does this now and sick of them raising prizes and giving us less SS and sd's for it! We should all write a letter to Stardoll in complaint.

I think this is true about some people, but not everyone buys LE just because it is LE. Some of the pieces are actually beautiful, and people buy them because they like them. If people like them, and they can afford it why not?
Unfortunately, I am not one of those people, but if I did have a lot of money, I would buy almost all of this collection.
I agree that Stardoll does keep raising the prices and releasing LE more often to get us to spend more, but I also think that we choose what we buy, and if people want to sell their first season DKNY and other rares, that's their decision. I think you could have put this nicer, because it comes across that you are making fun of people who do that.

Well now LE store has 4 floors when before had 2 because on 4 floors we have more pices more pieces mean more money
it's true. that's why I don't buy superstar anymore, even though i love the new collection and it would be awesome to get at least one piece. and stardoll became extremely greedy lately, so i'm not going to support them anymore.
Totally true. PLus almost all the nice dresses are like 250sd... so pretty yet so annoying.
That happened to me. I had to sell a piece of old DKNY to buy a shirt. I love it, but I didn't want to sell my DKNY!!

I bought probably around 10 items, only one of them was a piece of clothing and it's a jacket. To be honest, I don't want to give that much money for a piece of clothing I'll only wear once or never wear.
I love LE just for the accessories, I love the bags, shoes and jewelry because they're versatile, and I know I will wear them many times. So it kinda pays off.
Plus they're gorgeous :D
LE is kinda a waste of sd,pretty but way over priced.

I had to sell some of my RAREs today - but I dont regret it ;D
Because it will be possible to buy those DKNY, HBs and more later, but LE might not become able to sell ever ;]
Also yeah they have become not so limited - but it's nice for such people as me who got today very late home and hadnt know before that LE was coming Today ;D

I was kind of shocked when I saw how soon this LE came out after the last collection.
I agree with Jenna maybe we could all send them a letter on the same day at almost the same time...they'd have to notice that or maybe they'd just ignore us.:)
Ha, I haven't bought any new LE. However, I have taken advantage of people selling their rares to get money for the LE. For example, an old LE Tee dress for 60 sd, which is much less than the new ones cost.. plus it is probably more rare too (ex 87/500)!

Well the very first LE edition was very limited. Now every new LE edition has new pieces so it's less 'limited'
I rember buying for 50 a top from first edition that had about 350/400 copies Now with 85sd you buy a item with 850 copies!
i think we had been stolen..now a newLE is out like once a month..where is the LIMITED edition? is the only way to stardoll win real money? i didn't sell any my rares and didn't bought sd's..because i prefer to spend my money in sales and something like that..
i'm tired of LE

Very True. I like LE but but the prices are high. I'm going to cut back too. We Should really to on strike.
The dresses that i wanted was gone before i could buy , but i will not spend the money for another piece of clothe that i don't want just cause is LE .
Mmm...I have to say you're right...the prices for clothing are sky high currently, and something the same quality of an LE top would have been around 5-6 sd only a year ago. But the clothes are unique (mostly cough cough) and gorgeous..so I can't blame the people who can't stop themselves.

Well I bought the entire collection. I never buy stardollars all the money I get is from sales and I rather get 15 items from LE than spend all my sd on 1 lotto.

You're totally right!! This time I was lucky enough to:
a) have some SD's
b) see the items on time
c) liked some of them
but it was just pure luck. I don't like certain policies of Stardoll like taking away the daily 1SD, or the way they manage these LE campaigns... If we're so many users, why they don't give us a better treatment?

I think that it would be great strike if none bought even one pair of LE! really,imagine.stardoll will thought ''whats going on?'' and they could open their eyes.Maybe we can do this at the next LE?

I agree with u 100%, they should say before, 4 people be prepared, i dont have probs i bought but its really anoying i dont like its very unfair. I always buy but only if i really like the piece, i even dont care if is rare and everyone want's,i didnt buy the 1 collection bc i was on holidays, but we must do something about this, if Stardoll is wht is it today, is because of us, so we must write and complain because if they have money to pay their staff is because we spent, its their obligation to have good bewave and respect all members of Stardoll, its the minimum they can do. Its Christimas time they own tht to all of us.
True. I got so many rare HBs during this time. I got the HB Ugg boots for only 60 sd!! I'm so happy :D
the prices have upped on this collection. all icould afford was a t-shirt. i am happy with it though because it is first piece of LE. now i realy realy want that floral dress....
